Meeting organizers, enterprises and end-users no longer have to choose the widely deployed and recognized Skype for Business solution at the expense of voice quality or scalability. Users may now initiate high quality HD voice calls – point-to-point or multipoint – easily from their Skype chat window or contact list with just a few clicks. As an added benefit, Compunetix voice platforms can support both IP and traditional PSTN connections, enabling all participants to join a Summit/Olympus + Skype for Business call – not just those using a Skype IP client.
This new integration offers the ability to leverage the outstanding features of Skype for Business – such as chat, presence, access to Microsoft Outlook contacts, mobility and the broad Skype familiarity – together with the Summit Olympus’ high definition voice, hybrid call support, *0 operator assistance, recording capabilities, hosted UC resources, and immense scalability. While Skype for Business implementations typically limit the enterprise to 250 voice participants or less, users of the Summit Olympus + Skype for Business integration receive the benefit of scaling audio participants into the thousands.
