After over 45 years in business, the President and CEO of Compunetix/Compunetics/Chorus Call/Sonexis has a long list of accolades under his belt; Dr. Giorgio Coraluppi has garnered some of the telecommunications industry’s highest honors. The latest is a nomination for the Pennsylvania Governor’s Impact Awards in the Entrepreneur Impact Category. Governor Tom Corbett, the PA Department of Community & Economic Development (DCED), and the Team Pennsylvania Foundation designed the awards program to celebrate the companies and individuals who are investing in Pennsylvania and creating jobs. A luncheon will be held on Thursday, May 23 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Hershey Lodge in Hershey, PA to recognize the finalists and celebrate the winners of this prestigious award.

Governor Corbett is following through with his commitment to create a pro-growth environment that enables businesses and to grow and create jobs. In the past two years more than 100,000 private sector jobs have been added in Pennsylvania and manufacturing jobs have grown by the highest number in a decade. Companies that are nominated for the awards must be based or have significant operations in their respective PREP (Partnerships for Regional Economic Performance) region, be for-profit entities and be in good standing with the PA Department of Revenue.

Dr. Coraluppi is proud to be a finalist for this award and looks forward to continuing to make a difference in the spirit of entrepreneurship for years to come. For more information on the award, please click here.
