Jim Klueber, the Compunetix Video Systems Division (VSD) Manager, recently discussed thoughts about InfoComm 2012 with TP&VC Insight. Topics of the interview included new interests or trends among the attendees, comparisons to InfoComm in recent years, and the success of the show. When asked about any changes at the 2012 show , Jim commented, “There was certainly an increased interest in videoconferencing…people seemed to have actual budgets this year and were looking to purchase this year rather than just see what is out there.”
Visitors to our booth were very interested in learning more about both the EVERGREEN™ Multipoint Control Unit (MCU) and the new Video on the Fly mobile solution, which is available now in Apple’s App Store at no cost for all iOS devices and soon to be available for Android devices. Video on the Fly’s high quality video and audio, abundance of features, and avoidance of firewall problems, enable users to join a conference with ease using their mobile device. This mobile application is powered by the Compunetix EVERGREEN™ system, which allows for extensive interoperability with iOS devices and PC and Mac desktops.
The 2012 InfoComm show was very exciting for us, as we were able to talk with existing customers and connect with new customers looking to Compunetix for collaborative conferencing solutions. The success of the show was apparent and as Jim noted in the interview, “this was by far the best show for us.”
