Rack Mount Consoles
Compunetix offers several 19” rack mount user consoles. Most rack mount consoles come in red/black and single color (black-only or red-only) versions.
The SRI 12 and SRI 12 II feature a 12 inch touch screen in a 5U rack mount enclosure. They are rack mount versions of the SDI-12 and SDI-12II. These consoles run GT software and display 4 pages of 24 line keys (96 total). Design features include a handset cradle, blue ringing/alert indicator light, and two multi-purpose knobs. An integrated 20W speaker provides ample volume even in high background noise environments. There are two headset jacks in the body with an option for an external jack box with two more jacks. The single color SRI-12 is an “all-in-one” design with all components in one enclosure. The red/black SRI-12 II consists of a headend display/control unit (same as pictured above) coupled with an SDAP. The headend and SDAP are connected by a CAT5e cable up to 150’ in length. The SRI-12 and SRI-12 II connect to the MVP switch over an IP network or using a T1 line and a KTMX.
The TRI-6 features a 6.2 inch touch screen housed in a 2U rack mount enclosure. It is a simple and cost-effective solution for black-only or red-only applications. The TRI-6 includes an LCD with an extra-wide viewing angle, handset hook, blue ringing/alert indicator light, six function buttons, two multi-purpose optical encoder knobs, and a robust 10W speaker. The unit provides a front panel headset/handset jack with an option for an additional jack box. The TRI-6 runs GTX software. It connects to the MVP switch over an IP network only. Power may be supplied by POE+ or an AC adapter.
The TRI D6 and TRI D6 II feature dual 6.2 inch touch screens in a 2U rack mount enclosure. The low profile and high line key density of these consoles make them especially suited for control rooms. They run GT software and provide 4 pages of 24 line keys (96 total). Design features include an integrated 20W speaker, independent volume knobs (left headset, speaker, right headset), and 12 multipurpose function buttons. There are two headset jacks in the front panel and two more available with an optional jack box. The single color TRI-D6 is an “all-in-one” design with all components in one enclosure. The red/black TRI-D6 II consists of a headend display/control unit coupled with a SDAP. The headend and SDAP connect with a CAT5e cable up to 150’ long. The TRI-D6 II headend unit looks like the TRI-D6 pictured above, but is only 3” in depth, allowing it to fit in tight locations. The TRI-D6 and TRI-D6 II connect to the MVP over an IP network or using a T1 line and a KTMX. The TRI-D6 supports the Wideband Audio Module (WAM) which allows the user to integrate high-fidelity audio into their local mission voice environment.
The HAI-12 and HAI-12 II are designed for use in Class I, Division II hazardous locations where explosive gases are present, such as rocket launch pads. These units are certified to meet Class I, Div II by an independent third-party laboratory. They feature a sealed enclosure with a front panel designed for personnel wearing protective gear with heavy gloves. Sunlight-readable LCD panels display four pages of 12 line keys (48 line keys). Design features include membrane-protected front panel buttons, two volume control knobs, and a 20W speaker. An optional unit extends headset/handset jacks and basic control functionality to a remote position. The HAI-12 and HAI-12 II connect to the MVP using a T1 line with a KTMX.
